19th August 2025: Story-Telling with Roxy Gahegan
This month we continue our series of story-telling – taking time to go deeper into what people are noticing about Gods activity around Aotearoa, and their responses. On August 19th, we are excited to welcome Roxy Gahegan for a chat. Roxy likes to garden and read (prose and poetry), write in her journal, walk in nature, talk with friends, make food and play with crafty things. And all of these have been ways for connecting with her inner world, and meeting with the Divine. In the past few years her understanding of calling has shifted from a narrow focus – called to a specific role – towards a far broader sense of called to BE. Since all doing flows from being, wayfinding, for her, is about who she is becoming and how she is receiving, responding to and reflecting on the invitation of each day. Usually, it’s a messy and work in progress effort, and that’s where the good stuff is. Roxy is a Presbyterian Minister, Spiritual Director and Enneagram Coach.
These conversations will not simply be about the activity of groups around the country, but explore deeper into why they do what they do, the ecosystem they sense God inviting them to foster, and their reflecting on what has happened. Plus, and maybe more importantly, we will explore how God is forming these Wayfinders. Our hope is that you can take these principles to help you in your own context.
