15th July 2025: Story-Telling

This month we begin a series of story-telling – taking time to go deeper into what people are noticing about God’s activity around Aotearoa, and their responses. To start us off we have the wonderful pleasure of chatting with Malcolm Gordon, who is journeying with a community called “The Common” part of First Church in Dunedin. Malcolm is a wonderful poet, musician, songwriter, and incredibly deep thinker.   We will reflect together on their journey, what they have learnt, and what he has noticed in the streets of Dunedin. These conversations will not simply be about the activity of groups around the country, but explore deeper into why they do what they do, the ecosystem they sense God inviting them to foster, and their reflecting on what has happened.  Plus, and maybe more importantly, we will explore how God is forming these Wayfinders.  Our hope is that you can take these principles to help you in your own context, whether it be established church expressions, new ones, or community/missional projects.
